This policy covers the Helin app and its Audio Unit plugin. Helin is made and published by Tanel Teemusk. In short: the app collects no data.
What the app collects
Nothing. Helin has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it makes no network connections of its own. Nothing about you or the way you use it is sent to me or to anyone else. Links to guest artists’ websites open in your browser only when you tap them.
Your sounds
Your sounds are saved on your device and, when you are signed in to iCloud, in a Helin folder in your own iCloud Drive, so your other devices get them. iCloud is run by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy; I have no access to it. In a host, your edits are also saved in the host’s session. Your sounds leave your devices only if you share them yourself.
Children
Since the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
